Our latest collection is not only a declaration of love for stripe designs, but also a bold step towards in terms of sustainability – with Frida, the first Cradle to Cradle® Gold-certified bed linen from lavie.

As a founding member of the Circular Clothing Cooperative, we have worked with partners to certify the entire supply chain in Portugal in accordance with the Cradle to Cradle® standards in order to drive forward the transition to sustainable textiles. Our goal: to give small labels access to circular production – for a textile industry with less waste and more accountability.

The new, yarn-dyed Tom terry towels made from 100% organic cotton are the perfect way to create a striped look in the bathroom. The soft, cuddly Tom is available in five sizes and three colors. In addition, Tilda, our tried-and-tested basic terry towels, is now available in an undyed version: for those who prefer an even more natural look.

Frida makes the difference – the first Cradle To Cradle® Gold certified bed linen from lavie

Sustainability begins with conscious design. Frida – as a bed linen and as a top sheet – is well thought out from fiber to seam and proudly holds the Cradle to Cradle® Gold certificate. From the material to the dyes to the manufacturing – everything about Frida is designed to be free of harmful substances and to one day return to the natural cycle.

What may sound simple is actually a major challenge, as sustainability in the textile industry rarely follows a straight path. Supply chains are complex and raw materials and producers have to be carefully selected. It often takes detours to get there. Frida is a step in the right direction – one of many that we are undertaking.

Cradle to Cradle® is a particularly rigorous certification because it considers sustainability in all its dimensions: from material health and renewable energy to fair social conditions. Frida not only carries the Cradle to Cradle® Gold certificate, but also bears the GOTS and OEKO-TEX® seals. Because great design can do more than just look good.

Soft & softer, Tom

Tom puts an end to rough times. Fluffy, low-twist terry towels provide a particularly soft feeling on the skin. Tom terry towels made of 100% organic cotton adorn the bathroom with a classic striped design in three colour variations. Five formats – from flannel to bath towel – offer numerous combination possibilities. Together as a coordinated set, combined with our Tilda or as a single addition to the bathroom: Tom remains timeless, hard-wearing and incredibly soft.

Less colour, more nature – Tilda undyed

Tilda is a bathroom staple – our basic terry towels are simple, functional and timeless. Now it is available in undyed, a version that does without dyes and preserves the natural beauty of organic cotton. Reduced to the essentials, this non-colour is a highlight for purists and a further step towards sustainability. The entire Tilda terry towelling line is available in five different sizes, perfect for hands, face or the whole body.

Airy, light, Linus sky

In feather-light blue, Linus sky made of 100% European linen ensures a fresh awakening, either as a classic bed linen or as a top sheet. Naturally breathable, linen regulates the temperature at any time of year. The Linus sky top sheet distinctly allows the sleeping climate to be individually regulated: On warm nights, it can be used on its own as an airy blanket, while in cooler months it is perfect for layering.
