Liam
from 49.90
Liam brings a new generation of natural fibers into the bedroom. The bed linen is made from an innovative blend of 50% organic cotton and 50% Bananatex® – a fiber from the Abacá plant, which grows wild in the Philippines. Abacá grows without artificial irrigation or pesticides and is cultivated in natural permaculture. The natural pore structure of the Abacá fiber ensures a balanced sleeping climate. The result is a soft fabric that feels pleasantly dry and light and is particularly durable.
Our Liam bed linen is a completely new concept and at the same time familiar against the skin. For all those who live consciously.
Description
What is Bananatex®?
Bananatex® is made from the fibres of the abacá plant, a wild banana species native to the Philippines. It grows naturally in a self-sustaining permaculture system without artificial irrigation or pesticides, helping to support biodiversity and restore former agricultural land. The fibres are harvested and processed into a fine pulp, which is then transformed into uniform yarn fibres. Combined with high-quality organic cotton, this creates an innovative fabric that blends natural raw materials with modern textile technology. Every step of the process, from cultivation to weaving, is fully traceable. Bananatex® represents a new generation of materials that combine responsibility, comfort and quality.
