Light, airy, seersucker.

Emil bed linen: Lightweight seersucker made from 100% cotton.

Seersucker in summer colours.

Spring/Summer 2026 Collection

Sometimes it doesn’t take much to make a bedroom feel suddenly lighter. A new fabric, a fresh texture, colours that evoke summer mornings. Our new Enea and Emil seersucker bed linen brings exactly that feeling into your home: airy, uncomplicated and pleasantly natural.

Seersucker is perfect for warm days and relaxing nights. Its gently textured surface ensures that the fabric feels wonderfully light against the skin and allows air to circulate. This creates a dry, comfortably regulated sleeping environment – with no effort at all. And because the fabric has a natural texture, you can safely give the iron a rest.

Two designs, four colours, eight sides.

The Enea and Emil designs demonstrate just how versatile seersucker can be. Both make use of the double-faced principle, meaning that the front and back have different designs.

Enea thrives on the play between simplicity and pattern. One side features uniform stripes that lend the bed a structured lightness, whilst the other side is finished in a delicate Vichy check. The two sides also differ in colour, creating two distinct yet harmonious looks within a single design. In the colour combinations apricot/pink and glacier/indigo, Enea appears at times warm and sunny, at others cool and refreshing.

Emil is no less sophisticated. The front features evenly spaced stripes, punctuated at wider intervals by contrasting colours. These accents lend depth and rhythm to the classic design. The reverse side is deliberately more understated: finely striped and rendered in two uniform colours. The two colour combinations, green/indigo and sky/apricot, evoke the endless horizon between light, water and air.

Whether it’s delicate stripes, Vichy checks or pops of colour – both designs invite you to give your bed a fresh new look time and time again. Enea and Emil are made from 80% organic cotton and 20% recycled cotton.

Milk and sugar: The poetic origins of seersucker

Seersucker is not only a distinctive fabric but also a term with a surprisingly poetic origin. The name derives from the Persian ‘shīr o shakkar’, which literally means ‘milk and sugar’. Via Hindi and Urdu, the term entered the English language as ‘sīrsakar’ and was subsequently adapted to ‘seersucker’.

This refers to the fabric’s characteristic texture: smooth areas represent the milk, whilst crinkled areas represent the sugar. It is precisely this interplay that makes seersucker so comfortable.

In Urdu – a language historically heavily influenced by Persian – the phrase ‘Shir o Shakkar’ is used metaphorically to describe things that go particularly well together. Just like milk and sugar, which combine to create something harmonious. It’s a concept that fits perfectly with our double-sided designs: two sides that complement each other and together form a harmonious whole.
