From the bed to the window
Linus Curtain
Linus Ready-Made Curtain.
Colors from left to right: light gray, white, and taupe.
100% linen –
One material, many rooms, and even more ideas.
What began as bedding is now making its way into a new living space: With the Linus ready-made curtain, this trusted fabric—already familiar to many from the bedroom—is now gracing windows. Made in Portugal from 100% European linen, certified by Masters of Flax Fibre™.
While Linus allows you to experience linen up close as bedding, the material takes on a different quality when used on windows: light shines through naturally, the fabric moves gently in the breeze, and rooms take on a sense of depth. This creates an atmosphere that feels neither closed off nor completely open.
Design with light
instead of blocking it out.
Linus is a semi-transparent ready-made curtain. It blocks direct views into the room while maintaining a connection to the outdoors. Sunlight is not blocked but filtered, transforming it into soft, atmospheric ambient light.
The curtain is available in five coordinating colors: white, light gray, taupe, sky blue, and lavender. The colors can be mixed and matched and blend seamlessly into any home decor style.
Useful information
Ready to go and hassle-free.
Linus comes as a ready-made curtain and is made in a fixed size of 140 × 270 centimeters. A sewn-in curtain tape allows for quick hanging using curtain gliders or hooks, and the color-coordinated overlock seam ensures a neat finish. This way, you can transform a room in just a few simple steps, without lengthy planning or tailoring.
The Look of Linen
Linen is a natural fiber with its own unique character. It reacts to its surroundings and can change slightly depending on the humidity. In more humid conditions, the fabric appears slightly heavier and longer; in dry conditions, it contracts slightly. Linus is pre-washed, which reduces this natural effect.
Another characteristic of linen is its lively, wrinkled look. The wrinkles aren’t a flaw, but rather part of its natural charm, and they give the fabric its relaxed elegance.
After washing, it’s a good idea to gently shake out the curtain and hang it back up right away. This will allow many of the wrinkles to smooth out on their own. If you prefer a smoother finish, you can iron the fabric while it’s still slightly damp.
More Care Tips
- Wash the ready-made curtain gently at 40 °C.
- Do not overload the washing drum.
- Shake out the curtains a little after washing and hang them up to smooth out the creases.
- If needed, iron while slightly damp.
