You know that there is such a thing as an iron, but you don’t want to have anything to do with it? Then we have good news for you: our bed linen has that extra creased look. Sold already? Then wait and see, we have a few more strong selling points for you in favour of the Linus <\/a>bed linen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, when it comes to temperatures:<\/strong> if you like to be warm in winter and cool in summer (i.e. everyone), linen is a good choice as the fibre regulates temperature, is absorbent and dries faster than cotton. But linen is also a good choice for night owls and anyone with a nasty washing machine, as the material is extremely tear-resistant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the bed linen always stays nice and light and hardly becomes statically charged. Bacteria also don’t stand a chance and are killed immediately when an attempt is made to contaminate them. Stains are not tackled quite so harshly, but generally don’t feel very happy on linen either. Whether you throw your new bed linen in the tumble dryer or leave it to air dry is up to you, both are possible. After air drying, the bed linen may be a little stiff the first night before it becomes nice and fluffy and soft again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So much for pragmatic handling. Of course, we offer even more, such as a clear conscience: For our products, we take care to use materials whose origin we can trace. Our bed linen is made from certified European flax<\/a> (see also: European Flax) from Belgium and France. As there are unfortunately practically no more spinning mills in Europe, the linen fibres are spun in China before being sent to Portugal. There they are weaved and finished. To achieve the right colour, the individual fabrics are piece-dyed, a process better known as garment dyeing. This means that the duvet cover or pillowcase is first woven and made up before being dyed and washed. The dyeing process roughens the fibres slightly, which makes the otherwise very stiff bed linen beautifully soft to the touch. Garment dyeing also allows smaller quantities to be dyed as required, which saves resources.

To summarise: Bed linen is ideal for anyone who values sustainability and natural materials. And all home-lovers who appreciate always sleeping at a good temperature.
